What is openSUSE on a laptop from us?
openSUSE is the community project beside SUSE Linux Enterprise. Leap is the fixed release — current is Leap 16. Tumbleweed is the rolling snapshot people who want a current kernel live on. We default to Leap. Say so on the order if you want Tumbleweed.
KDE Plasma is the desktop a lot of this community actually runs. GNOME is first-class too. You pick it on the product page. zypper and Btrfs snapshots are there either way.
We source current name-brand notebooks, install openSUSE, and do not ship until wireless, GPU, audio, webcam, Bluetooth, and touchscreen pass. Hinge goes to the manufacturer, not a warehouse on another continent.

How we install it
On the product page, set Linux Distribution to openSUSE. We install Leap unless you ask for Tumbleweed. KDE Plasma is the usual desktop; GNOME and others are listed.

Dual-boot is an add-on: we partition the drive and the BIOS boot menu asks which OS to load.
Pick a laptop on the shop. Set Linux Distribution to openSUSE. Desktop defaults to KDE Plasma if you want the usual setup for this distro. A Linux engineer installs, configures, and tests the machine. It ships UPS Ground, typically 3–5 business days, tracking emailed before it leaves.

Will Wi-Fi and the GPU work on openSUSE?
We test Wi-Fi, GPU, audio, webcam, Bluetooth, and touchscreen on the installed system before it ships. If it fails, it does not leave.

No. We source new Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Asus machines, install openSUSE, and test them. You keep the manufacturer hardware warranty.
