The Linux Laptop Company
Steam & Proton, installed. Just pick a GPU and play.
Bazzite is the image that community already runs: Steam, Proton, Lutris, HDR, an atomic desktop you can roll back. We install the desktop image on a current Lenovo, Dell, HP, Acer, or Asus, test the GPU and every radio, and ship UPS Ground in 3–5 business days. Manufacturer warranty stays with the chassis. Not a handheld image unless you ask.
What is Bazzite on a laptop from us?
Bazzite is Universal Blue’s Fedora Atomic gaming OS. Image-based: rpm-ostree, signed images, rollbacks measured in weeks, Flathub for apps. Steam is there. Proton is there. The Discord already knows the update cadence. What they do not have is a name-brand laptop that arrived with Bazzite already honest about Wi-Fi and the GPU.
We install the desktop image, not the Steam Deck-style Gaming Mode handheld image, unless you ask. KDE Plasma is Bazzite’s usual desktop; GNOME is the other official image. Pick the desktop on the product page and we match it. NVIDIA machines get the NVIDIA image. AMD and Intel take the standard desktop image.
This is still a Linux Laptop Company machine: Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, or Asus. Radios tested. Hinge goes to Lenovo, not a warehouse on another continent. 3–5 day UPS Ground, tracking emailed before it leaves.
Who this is for
- People who already run Bazzite on a desktop or handheld and want it on a real laptop
- Steam and Proton users who would rather not fight NVIDIA, AMD, or a Broadcom card
- People who want Steam and Proton on a name-brand chassis with a discrete GPU
- HTPC or couch gaming on a 16" or 17" — say so if you want Steam Gaming Mode instead of desktop
How we install it
On the product page, set Linux Distribution to Bazzite. Pick KDE Plasma or GNOME. We install the matching desktop image and test Steam’s stack against the GPU in the chassis.
Leave handheld / Steam Gaming Mode off unless you tell us. Laptops get the desktop image so you still have a normal session, files, and a browser that is not trapped in gamescope.
For the best gaming performance, choose a chassis with a discrete GPU on the shop — TUF, Victus, Nitro, G-series, and the like. We match the Bazzite image to that GPU and test it before it ships.
Pick a laptop on the shop. Set Linux Distribution to Bazzite. Desktop defaults to KDE Plasma if you want the usual setup for this distro. A Linux engineer installs, configures, and tests the machine. It ships UPS Ground, typically 3–5 business days, tracking emailed before it leaves.
Other distros we install
Ubuntu LTS is the shop default. These pages cover the distros people pick on the product page. Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Lubuntu, MX Linux, Solus, Nobara, and LMDE are still available on the product page.

Bazzite laptop FAQs
Do you install Bazzite desktop or Steam Gaming Mode?
Desktop image by default — KDE or GNOME, matching the desktop you pick. Steam Gaming Mode (handheld/HTPC) only if you ask.
Does Bazzite include Steam?
Yes. Bazzite ships Steam, Proton, and Lutris. We test the GPU and radios on that stack before the laptop ships.
Do I need a discrete GPU for Bazzite?
Bazzite will install on integrated graphics, but games play best on a discrete NVIDIA or AMD GPU. Pick a TUF, Victus, Nitro, or G-series chassis on the shop if that is what you are here for.
Will my NVIDIA or AMD laptop run Bazzite?
We pick the Bazzite image that matches the GPU and test it. If graphics or Wi-Fi fail, the machine does not ship.
Do you build these Bazzite laptops?
No. We source new name-brand machines, install Bazzite, and test them. You keep the manufacturer hardware warranty.
