The Linux Laptop Company
The security distro. On hardware a local shop can service.
Kali Linux is the Debian-based distro security people actually use for authorized testing, labs, and coursework. We install it on a current Lenovo, Dell, HP, Acer, or Asus, make Wi-Fi and the rest of the hardware behave, and ship UPS Ground in 3–5 business days. Manufacturer warranty stays on the machine.
What is Kali Linux on a laptop from us?
Kali is Offensive Security’s distribution: Debian Testing, a security-focused package set, rolling tools. The default image includes Kali’s Top 10 — Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, Metasploit, sqlmap, John, Hydra, Aircrack-ng, NetExec, Responder — plus the rest of kali-linux-default. The longer toolkit list is on the Kali & security page. People in this community already know what it is. They need the OS on a chassis that suspends, associates with Wi-Fi, and can be warrantied when a hinge fails.
We are not a “hacking laptop” shop. We are a Linux shop that will install Kali, test the radios, and stand behind the hardware the same way we stand behind Ubuntu. Authorized security work, university labs, and professional pentest kits are the use. If you want a friendly desktop for email and school PDFs, pick Ubuntu or Mint instead.
Kali can be picky about firmware. That is why this page exists. We source current name-brand notebooks, install current Kali, and do not ship until wireless, GPU, audio, webcam, Bluetooth, and touchscreen pass.
Who this is for
- Security students who need Kali on a machine they did not spend the weekend installing — Nmap, Wireshark, Burp, Metasploit, already there
- Professionals who want a dedicated Kali kit on a Lenovo or Dell they can get serviced
- People who already know Kali and are tired of fighting OEM Wi-Fi and suspend
- Anyone who wants Kali dual-booted with Ubuntu or Windows — say so on the order
How we install it
On the product page, set Linux Distribution to Kali. Kali’s own default desktop is Xfce; GNOME is on the list if you prefer it. We install current Kali at configuration time.
If this is your only computer, consider Ubuntu or Mint as the first OS and Kali as the dual-boot add-on. Two partitions. BIOS boot menu. They do not step on each other.
Same 3–5 day UPS Ground, tracking emailed before it leaves. Same engineer on the phone: 877-547-3638.
Pick a laptop on the shop. Set Linux Distribution to Kali. Desktop defaults to Xfce if you want the usual setup for this distro. A Linux engineer installs, configures, and tests the machine. It ships UPS Ground, typically 3–5 business days, tracking emailed before it leaves.
Other distros we install
Ubuntu LTS is the shop default. These pages cover the distros people pick on the product page. Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Lubuntu, MX Linux, Solus, Nobara, and LMDE are still available on the product page.

Kali Linux laptop FAQs
Do you install current Kali Linux?
Yes. Current Kali at the time we configure the laptop. Pick Kali on the product page. Xfce is Kali’s default desktop; GNOME and others are available.
Is Kali a good daily-driver laptop OS?
For most people, no. Ubuntu LTS or Linux Mint is the better everyday desktop. Kali is for security coursework, labs, and authorized testing. Dual-boot if you need both.
Will Wi-Fi and the GPU work on Kali?
We test Wi-Fi, GPU, audio, webcam, Bluetooth, and touchscreen on the installed Kali system before it ships. If it fails, it does not leave.
Do you build these Kali laptops?
No. We source new Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Asus machines, install Kali Linux, and test them. You keep the manufacturer hardware warranty.
Can I dual-boot Kali with Ubuntu or Windows?
Yes. Dual-boot is an optional add-on. We partition the drive and the BIOS boot menu asks which OS to load each time the machine starts.
