We put it on a current Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, or Asus, test Wi-Fi and the rest of the hardware, and ship UPS Ground in 3–5 business days. You keep the OEM warranty.
What is Linux Mint on a laptop from us?
Linux Mint is built so your parents, your students, and you can find the browser, the files, and the Wi-Fi. Big icons. An app store. LibreOffice for the school PDF. You do not need to speak kernel on day one.
Underneath it is Ubuntu LTS, which is why printers, Wi-Fi chipsets, and how-to docs tend to cooperate. On top it is Cinnamon — a desktop that still has a menu in the corner and windows that behave. No Microsoft account. No ads in the start menu. Updates on your calendar.
We install current Mint, load Cinnamon (or the desktop you pick), set up codecs so video plays, and confirm the wireless card associates with a normal home router. Then a person in the USA is the phone number, not a forum.

How we install it
On the product page, set Linux Distribution to Linux Mint. Desktop defaults to Cinnamon — that is the Mint people mean. GNOME, Xfce, and MATE are there if you want them. LMDE is a separate option if you specifically want the Debian edition.
Ubuntu LTS remains our shop default. Mint is one checkbox away. Same radio testing, same 3–5 day ship, same manufacturer warranty.
Still need Windows for one app? Dual-boot is an add-on. Mint on one partition, Windows on the other, BIOS boot menu each time it starts.
Pick a laptop on the shop. Set Linux Distribution to Linux Mint. Desktop defaults to Cinnamon if you want the usual setup for this distro. A Linux engineer installs, configures, and tests the machine. It ships UPS Ground, typically 3–5 business days, tracking emailed before it leaves.

Linux Mint laptop FAQs
Is Linux Mint the default on your laptops?
Ubuntu LTS and GNOME are the shop default. Linux Mint is on every product page. Pick it at checkout and we install current Mint, usually with Cinnamon.
Does Mint feel like Windows?
Cinnamon is the closest widely used Linux desktop to a classic Windows layout: a menu, a panel, windows. It is still Linux. It will not nag you for a Microsoft account.
Will my .docx files and Wi-Fi work?
LibreOffice opens the documents from school. We test Wi-Fi, audio, webcam, Bluetooth, and touchscreen before the box leaves. If a radio fails, it does not ship.
Do you build these Mint laptops?
No. We source new name-brand machines, install Linux Mint, and test them. You keep the manufacturer hardware warranty.
What is LMDE?
LMDE is Mint’s Debian edition. It is a separate option on the product page. Regular Linux Mint (Ubuntu-based, Cinnamon) is what most people want.
